The 2013 Farmer-Chef Connection is Monday, March 4th, 8:30am – 5pm at The World Forestry Center in Portland.
Directions to event
This will be the 13th successive year that Portland Chefs Collaborative has hosted the Farmer-Chef Connection.
The event’s success is a tribute to the great work of many volunteers over the years, all the great bounty of our region, and the drive and passion that local food buyers and food growers have to make our local food system successful!
Not just for Farmers & Chefs … who is invited?
During this one-day event, farmers, ranchers, food processors and manufacturers join forces with restaurant chefs, grocery retailers, specialty food store owners, food service operators, institutional buyers and distributors to cultivate partnerships.
What does it cost?
$29 for the day, includes fabulous lunch & happy hour!
How can I help?
Please help to pass the word about this event, especially to businesses just starting to source locally. Please donate some of your product for the lunch or for the end-of-the-day raffle, or donate your time to turn someone’s product into a delicious lunch item ahead of time! To donate any of the above, please email us.
Interested in Tabling?
If you would like to set up a table to display/promote your product, or if you are a service provider or a non-profit servicing food producers or buyers, please email us and put “Table” in the subject line. There will be a $25 charge for the space this year (taken via check, not through the registration online), and space is very limited.
